Adding a recurring event

A recurring event is an event that repeats on different dates and times. An example is a theatre show that has multiple performances. Recurring event include events that repeat:
Every day.
Every week (on one or more days of the week).
Multiple times a day or week.
At a custom interval.
To add a recurring event:
In the Event details view, click Multiple dates to show the Multiple dates options.
Select the rate of recurrence from the Frequency dropdown:
Daily—Event that repeats every day at specific time(s).
Weekly—Event that repeats every week on specific day(s) at specific time(s).
Custom—Event that repeats a few different times in a short period of time, such as a theatre play.
Do one of the following: Daily:
In the Multiple dates field, set the timespan for the repeating event (required).
Add a start time and end time for all occurrences of the event (optional).
Tip: If the event happens at different times on different days week after week, use Weekly. If it is not consistent, you can leave this blank and then edit the times in the next step.
Click Edit to add or modify dates and times in the Custom dialog (optional).
Weekly:
In the Multiple dates field, set a timespan for the event series (required).
Add a start time and end time for all events (optional). Tip: If the event has different times on different days, enter the time that appears most often. You can then edit the times to finalize.
Select the days of the week on which the event is happening (required).
Click Edit to add or modify dates and times in the Custom dialog (optional).
Custom:
In the Multiple dates field, set a timespan for the event series (optional).
Click Edit to add dates and times in the Custom dialog (required).
Finish adding the event details and then click Save as draft or Publish.
Use the custom dates dialog when you need to fine-tune the dates and times of recurring events. For example, you may need to add a second time on a single day of the week.
In the Custom dialog you can:
Add dates by clicking dates in the calendar view on the left.
Delete dates by clicking dates in the calendar view on the left or the trash icon in the list view on the right. Deleted dates will be crossed out on the right, where you can either permanently delete them or restore them.
Add additional times to dates in the list view on the right. You can add the time to a single date or all dates. Remember: After setting a time, click the associated Add button for your change to be applied. Add as many times as you need.
Duplicate times from one date to other dates by using the copy icon. You can copy the times to specific dates or all dates. Remember to click Apply.
After customizing dates and times, click the Add button on the bottom right to save your changes. Click Cancel to exit without saving.
