Footlight CMS is a data-centric, community-oriented solution for managing event information intended for calendars and listing sites. Designed to support people working together to promote events, Footlight CMS makes collaboration easier and simplifies the process of adding events from different sources.

• One-step creation—Footlight lets you create events that are easy to find and available for reuse. This streamlines the process of adding events to multiple listings.

• Import and share—Footlight integrates with Artsdata.ca. This enables Admins to minimize repetitive data entry by importing events from Artsdata. Event data is also shared from Footlight CMS to Artsdata for others to use.

• Autofill fields—Footlight lets you search for, and prefill fields with, event information (like venue addresses) that is readily available on the web.

• Targeted purpose—Footlight makes it easier to include events that come from different sources that target a shared interest such as geography, event type or other common purpose.

• Efficient collaboration—Invite contributors to enter their event once knowing it will be structured for discoverability and readily available to the broader community for reuse (via Artsdata.ca).

• Easy calendar management for Admins—Admins can set user permissions, oversee events and tailor their calendar to their exact needs.
