Duplicating events

All users can duplicate one event as a starting point for another, new event. Duplicating an event will copy all event details to a new event details page, which you can then edit and save / publish as a distinctly different event.

Tip: To streamline event creation, duplicate an event that is similar to the one you want to add. Event details that are the same will be pre-populated so you only have to edit event details that are different.

To duplicate an event:

  1. Click Events to go to the Event calendar.

  2. Find the event you want to duplicate, click the quick action menu to the right of the event, and then click Duplicate. The event details view opens with editable access.

  3. Edit event details where necessary: retitle the event, change the dates or modify any other details to match your new event. For more information, see Adding or editing an event.

  4. Click save, publish or send for review.
