Adding a single-date event

A single date event happens once at a specific date and time. An example of a single date event is a music event that has one performance.

To add a single date event:

  1. In the Event details view, click Single date.

  1. Select the date of your event. Enter a start and end time (optional). Best practice is to add a start time. Tip: Event status is automatically set to Scheduled. Change it if your event has been postponed or canceled.

  1. If necessary, click one of the Change date type options to switch to a different date type.

  2. Finish adding the event details and then click Save as draft or Publish.

Note: Event status is automatically scheduled. You only need to change it if your event is postponed or canceled.
