When you log into Footlight (or click Events in the left navigation), the Event calendar view is displayed with the list of current and upcoming events.
Note: If you are a member of more than one Footlight calendar, select the calendar you want to view from the calendar list dropdown in the left navigation.
Search—Find and display events by title, event type, place, audience type or keyword.
Filter—Use individually or combine filters to display a list of events based on selected event publication state, event creator and/or date range. Easily clear all filters at once using the Clear button.
Scan events—In the event list, view high-level event details, including title, location, date, event status (canceled and postponed tags are displayed), publication status (published, draft, or pending review) and event creator. By default, 10 events are displayed per page.
View an event—In the event list, click an event to open the Event details view. All users can view the event details of any event. User permissions determine whether you can edit the event you are viewing.
Use the context menu to the right of an event to do quick actions. User permissions determine availability. Actions include:
Duplicating an event (all users).
Publishing, un-publishing, and deleting your own event (Contributors).
Publishing, un-publishing and deleting any event (Editors).
Publishing, un-publishing, deleting and featuring any event (Admins).
+ Event button—Click the + Event button to add a new event to the calendar. See Adding or editing events for more information.
